It Was That Dang Red-Headed Preacher’s Kid! gets exposure through its first newspaper article. Bay City, Texas—the town where several of the book's stories take place—has shown great support by promoting the book. From the Chamber of Commerce, to the Lions Club, to the Bay City Public Library, word has spread about the book's release and its roots in Matagorda County.
